The race is regarded by many as one of Michael Schumacher's greatest drives. He started from 3rd on the grid after qualifying had been dominated by Jacques Villeneuve in the dry. Schumacher made a brave pass inside Alesi at the La Source hairpin at the start of the 5th lap and then followed this up by passing Villeneuve half way around the same 5th lap. At the end of the next few laps Schumacher led by the following:

Panasu kad jam ji buvo per sudetinga suprasti ir suvirskinti, tai pradejo nuo baziniu dalyku - greicio fiksavimo ivairiuose trasos taskuose. gilles82> nezinau kurioje vietoje schumis kietas, net nuo Rosbergo gavo i kaulus konkreciai... pvz paimkim pirma sezona kai jie vare kartu (kitu net tingejau skaiciuoti), tai kvalifikacijoje (imu kvalifikacija nes avarijos ir gedimai is esmes negroja/nepasitaiko taip daznai kaip per lenktynes), santykis buvo 14:5. Skaityk trigubai. Lenktynese analogiskai bet kazkas prades kalbeti apie 'nelaimes' tai tiek to, neskaiciuosiu ju.

Tik patobulejus telemetrijai, inzinieriai pradejo suprasti ant kiek tikslus budavo MS pastebejimai apie bolido elgesi. Jie is pradziu netikedavo, kad galima tokius dalykus fiksuot vaziuojant ir prisimint po to viska tiksliai. Trumpiau tariant Schumis ir buvo ju pirmoji telemetrija.

YZF, bet jau paskutiniais 2012 metais, visai normaliai Q pralaimejo tik 8:12. o lenktynes Schumis laimejo 7:3. gerai aisku nepamenu, kiek is nebaigtu lektyniu buvo DNF del paties kaltes, bet apie pora lenktyniu tikrai sugryvabo pats.

Mano nuomone, Ferrari daug didesnis issukis teisingai adaptuoti trumpa nosi, ka jau Allison'as jau puse metu ruosia(juk pagrindines Red Bull'io problemos ir buvo susijusio su short nose'u sezono pradzioje, ir ilgai jie tas problemas sprende)
