Rich Energy has officially been renamed Lighting Volt as William Storey has parted ways with the company.
Prior to the British Grand Prix weekend, the energy drink company's twitter account claimed that it had ended its sponsorship deal with the Haas Formula 1 team.
However, Haas and the Rich Energy shareholders moved to clarify that the two were still very much in a partnership, while the race weekend saw multiple tweets from Rich Energy blasting the company and the F1 team.
On Wednesday, company documents declared that the Rich Energy name was no more while Storey had left his role as a director, as has Croatian Zoran Terzic.
Matthew Bruce Kell has taken on a director role in the absence of the aforementioned personnel.
In a leaked letter last weekend, Haas stated that it would be willing to continue working with Rich Energy as long as it saw substantial and clear evidence that Storey was no longer part of the company.

Nežinau, aš tiesiog tokį gandą skaičiau. Jei gandas teisingas, tai VB dabar laisvas agentas. Kiek suprantu kalbasi su Ferrari, bet nelabai tikiu, kad SV išeis (ar bus išeidintas) kažkur, ar iš F1 apskritai. O CL, manau, akivaizdu, kad nekeis. VB lieka ne tiek ir daug vietų, realiai galėtų eiti į Haas, jeigu CP neužlįs (o panašu, kad gali), Renault, jei tikrai nori Hulku atsikratyt, arba Force India, jei CP išeis, ir ten nenueis EO. Williams reikia rėmėjų, kurių VB nelabai turi, McLaren kaip ir aišku viskas, Sauber (Alfa Romeo) kažin ar Ferrari atiduos savo vietą, RB komandos irgi viskas aišku. After the riveting British Grand Prix, Williams and Red Bull Racing remained at Silverstone for testing duty where both teams ran a car on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On the final day (Wednesday) Robert Kubica was in action for Williams with Formula E champion and former Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi back in an F1 car.
But the test was marred when Buemi crashed heavily while on duty in the RB10 and although he was unhurt, by the forces estimated at 20 Gs, he was sent for observation at the circuit’s Medical Center.
Early evidence suggests that the RB10 suffered a collapse of the left rear wheel which rendered the driver a passenger before the vicious impact. Red Bull and Pirelli were still investigating the cause at time of writing.
