Do bear in mind though, initially the steering was "heavy" now, it was "locked". Analysts will say that particular body language is an illustration of dishonesty, in this case, nose and ear scratching. There was plenty of that going on in the press conference.

But it is the Finn's long-run on medium tyres in the Friday afternoon that suggests the car potentially has the pace to race with F1's dominant force.

Raikkonen completed a run of nine flying laps on the medium-compound Pirelli, setting an average laptime of 1m45.080s.

By comparison, Lewis Hamilton averaged 1m45.070s over six laps and Nico Rosberg 1m45.313s over seven laps.

Panašu, kad Ferraris gerai tvarkosi su padangų devėjimusi. Ko gero tai alisono įtaka. Panašiai kaip Lotusas prieš porą metų su padangų degradacija tvarkėsi. Nors žinoma, negalima nurašyti degalų kieko. Taip kad kolkas dar nelabai čia kas aišku su tais tempais.

Lewis Hamilton has reportedly ‘demanded’ that F1’s governing body release more information about what caused Fernando Alonso’s crash in testing.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, Hamilton ‘became increasingly agitated’ during Friday night's drivers’ briefing as he called upon the FIA to release its findings into the mysterious accident that resulted in Alonso spending three days in hospital and missing the season-opening Australian GP.

"I've been doing some asking around about these hydraulically assisted power steering systems from other engineers, talking about Fernando blaming that the steering locked up, and i can't find any engineer in the pitlane who could tell me that if it did indeed lock up, which is possible, apparently the hydraulic power steering assist, and lets not forget it is just an assist there's still a mechanical link from the steering wheel to the front, It can lock up but then that would be due to a loss of hydraulic pressure, something that would be shown up on the teams telemetry, something McLaren say was not shown up on their telemetry, that would be something that would be easily explainable,McLaren continue to insist, as far as i know, and Ron Dennis continues to insist that there wasn't anything that failed on the car.

With these hydraulically powered assist, steering assist, (and of course you're not allowed electric powered steering anymore are you it's been banned for about 10 years),that it might not be possible, it might not be physically possible (and i'm just saying this as this is what other engineers are telling me) for the steering to do what Fernando said it did.

I dont know about that, I don't know the answer, its just what some of the talk is down here."

"I've used them for years, used them on sports cars, LeMans cars & GT Cars and all sorts of things and yes, I have had them fail, they tend to just go a bit dead in the straight ahead position, you can't then carry on because you're trying to push the hydraulic rams up & down the tubes and you just can't turn the steering wheel, I've never had one lock in position but its not entirely out of the question, what is unusual in that case is that it didn't show up on the data, and also i'm absolutely categorically told that if it did lock right there's no sign on the torque sensor of any attempt to put left hand lock in,to counter a right hand lock which you would automatically do, so it does seem unusual if the steering locked and the driver didn't try to countersteer."

Zurnaliugu bandymai ispusti burbula jau darosi itin juokingi. Alonsas per press-konfa viska normaliai paaiskino, man kolkas nekyla jokiu papildomu itarimu. Esme susivokti laiko eigoje, kaip pats Alonsas sake, ir suprasti kad tai kas buvo komandos sakoma per pirmas pora dienu, ir tai ka jie suzinojo po savaites, ar menesio - gali skirtis. Kadangi jie neturejo pakankamai sensoriu ant vairo, tai pagal tuos duomenis kuriuos avarijos diena turejo - masinos gedimu nebuvo. Ta pasake Denisas ar kazkas kitas. Veliau kai jie pradejo, kartu su FIA, analizuoti situacija, tai priejo prielaidos, kad greiciausiai buvo vairo gedimas (o gal ta ir pilnai pasitvirtino patys). Kol neturejo sensoriu ant vairo, tol nieko nemate, dabar sensorius uzdejo, tai dabar jau matys.

Ir kadangi pagal pirminius duomenis komanda atmete bolido gedimo galimybe, prasidejo visokie svarstymai kas dar galejo buti - ta diena del vejo susimete kitas bolidas, tai denisas NETEIGE, bet garsiai speliojo kad GALBUT vejas (isiklausyti reikia i zmogaus kalba o ne skaityti kitu perpasakota teksta), poto dar islindo nukratymo teorijos is kitu fantazuotoju (idomu kaip per kostiuma gali nukratyti) ir t.t. ir pan. Kadangi smugio kampas buvo toks, kad G sensorius uzfiksavo aukstus parodymus, automatiskai suleido vaistu ir 'atjunge' Alonsa ir tuo metu kol vaistai veike - jis nieko neprisimine. Iki to laiko nebuvo jokiu samones praradimu. Po vaistu poveikio, nebuvo jokiu 1995 ar kito briedo. Puciamas burbulas lygioje vietoje.

Na siaip jau Alsonso arba McLaren gali sneketi vienaip ar kitaip, o realybe gali but visai kitokia. O vien tik ivykyje dalyvavusiu zmoniu zodziais tiketi nevisada galima. Juk yra sakoma, 'Ir melagiai gali kalbeti'. Kodel pvz po auto ivykio policija iesko liudininku, ir dalyvave ivykyje zmones nesiskaito liudininkais? Nes jie bus subjektyvus.

Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes are set to sign a new deal which will see the current championship leader staying with the Anglo-German outfit until 2018.
It's believed the three-year deal is worth a total of £65 million ($96m) excluding potential bonuses for race wins and championship victories.
His annual salary could therefore reach upwards of £30m ($45m), made up of a basic salary of £21.6m ($32m) and bonuses exceeding £8m ($12m) if he wins another title.
It's the first time the Briton has negotiated his own deal after splitting with his management team last year. Contract talks started in November but will finally come to an end this week according to sources.
The new deal would currently see Hamilton become Formula 1's third highest paid driver behind Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, though with bonuses, he will likely be the highest paid come 2016.
