The FIA has confirmed that it is to investigate the circumstances surrounding McLaren driver Fernando Alonso's Barcelona Formula 1 testing accident to find out if lessons can be learned.
Although the governing body does not automatically review all incidents at tests, because they are organised by teams rather than being an official FIA-run event, the fact that Alonso spent three days in hospital after the crash has prompted it into action.
Furthermore, high level sources have revealed that CCTV footage of the Alonso crash has been sourced and will be used to try to give some better insight into exactly what happened.
It is understood the low-quality footage was taken from a camera near Turn 4 looking back at the exit of Turn 3 - and it captures Alonso running wide, trying to correct his car and then slowing down before crashing into the wall on the inside.
News from sources close to McLaren. Current construction of the chassis that will race in Melbourne includes a "wiring loom" rethink.
"The CTU and MRI scans were completely clear, no indication of any damage. There was no concussion detected in the scan and physically he is perfect,” said Dennis.
Alonso spent three nights in hospital before being released on Wednesday with Dennis attributing his length of stay to the two-time world champion’s superstar status in his native Spain – “the level of focus was extreme because Fernando is Fernando,” explained the McLaren boss – and the recent spate of high-profile head injuries in sport.
Is siandienos testo:
11:06 @karunchandhok "Vettel's just done his best lap of the day - 6.5 kmh down in straight line speed to Bottas across the start - finish line"
6.5 km/h skirtumes nera toks jau mazas!
GPS measurements of other teams have shown that Alonso at a speed of 135 lost control and struck 105 km/h in the wall. The relatively small difference suggests that the Spaniard has tried intervening to save the car yet.
The first crash occurred at just 31G. This is the delay that has picked up the car. The G-sensors in the ear plugs found a delay of 16G on the head. The second strike into the wall, the car 18G and the head got from 8G. This is consistent with the testimony of Ron Dennis, who said that the head of the driver accelerates with less than half the power respectively was delayed.
The helmet looked after the crash of so new, as if it came straight out of the package. Not a single scratch. At the inspected by the FIA head and neck protection only slight impressions were found.
Formula 1's governing body, the FIA, has just published an updated entry list for the 2015 season, confirming the presence of the Manor Marussia team.
Pats Alonso tikina fanus, jog jam viskas gerai:
Ziuresim, kiek reikes 107% kvalifikacijos issimciu, jei jau jie gris is tikruju.
Longterm, aisku, lieka palinketi sekmes, bet sitas sezonas turetu buti pathetic.
A revised article 27.2 of F1's sporting regulations that is being proposed for 2016 states: "For the purpose of accident analysis, each car must be fitted with a high speed camera which has been manufactured by the FIA designated supplier to a specification determined by the FIA.
"This should be fitted to the car during each event and all tests which are attended by more than one team.
"Teams must use their best endeavours to ensure that it is in working order at all times.
"The camera must be fitted in accordance with the instructions of the FIA."
The FIA also wants to make it mandatory for drivers to wear in-ear accelerometers to help with data gathering in crashes.
Jo, iš video Alonso oficialiame YouTube kanale atrodo, jog jis miršta, užmiršo tiek anglų, tiek viskas kitas įmanomas kalbas.
Force India, Sauber and Lotus all ask Bernie Ecclestone for help ahead of the 2015 season, as they risk not making the grid.
"Cash flow problems" meaning suppliers no longer willing to supply first and invoice later. This is what happens when people don't pay invoices.
Without remembering any part of accident, Alonso and entourage are convinced something happened with the car and they want assurances that he doesn't take more risks than those inherent to his profession. Alonso, like other pilots confirm that the wind was an issue but if could be a factor it could not be the only factor. His experience in the track and the slow speed he was - it was the startup lap - make the wind theory very thin.
Manor Marussia F1 has confirmed that it intends to be at the Australian GP – and has formally named its new "principal investor" as Stephen Fitzpatrick.
The team's cars are yet to pass the mandatory FIA crash tests.
Former Sainsbury's boss Justin King, father of GP2 racer Jordan will be the interim chairman, while Graeme Lowdon is president and sporting director. John Booth remains team principal.
McLaren is Vodafone gaudavo 78mln USD per metus, dabar max gauna Red Bull - ar ne 40mln USD is Infinity - laikai pasikeite, nieks tiek nebemoka, anot McLaren jie vietos pigiai neparduos - geriau ims kelis mazesnius remejus
News from Australian GP Corp.: agreement extended until 2020, always 1st race, no night race.
Jaques tai could be forgotten - nebutu daug liudinciu
Many people forget that Giedo had a serious case against Sauber; Kaltenborn was put there to stall the team' growing financial turmoil - to get more money - Sauber is broke for almost 2 years now.
Van der Garde signed a contract, with Kaltenborn who needed his money for the '14 season and lured him with the contract clause of riding in '15. Along with Jules Bianchi (out of all), he would drive in '15 at Sauber.
With Ferrari, who supplied the engine, that financially backed Bianchi. VDG has financial support of the Dutch investor in Spyker, Flight Simulators & a internet provider which the investor sold for 1,3 billion Euro's, so Kaltenborn wanted his money.
It went all wrong when Bianchi crashed in Japan, and when Ferrari knew Bianchi would remain in coma for a long time, Ferrari called Kaltenborn and pulled their financial support with Bianchi.
Kaltenborn went into panic, especially after Simona de Silvestro (who?) - you would know her as the former IndyCar racer who Sauber promised to race along with VDG in '15 - failed to fill the gap for '15 with Russian funds and that's where Nasr and Ericsson came in.
Kaltenborn knew if she didn't accept their offers, Sauber would be declared bankrupt, so she took Ericsson's and Nasr's offer.
They didn't expect van der Garde to really sue them in every court imaginable, legally binding for the whole F1 season in '15. VdG knows Sauber is not sustainable and not able to go back to Caterham and with an broke Marussia he needed to get this spot.
The ''safety'' defence of Sauber was ridiculous, because every team used grandpa De La Rosa when he sometimes had no experience in the car.
They just don't want to go bankrupt, which people forget, is an actual concern for Sauber.
Outcome? The most realistic scenario;
Kaltenborn still needs the money, so they will go into defence and will try everything not to let VDG drive because he will never fil the money gap. So buy his contract off.
Other option: Kaltenborn will lose everything and they'll let Giedo race. But Sauber hasn't got long left...
O cia Dennisas prabilo (retas atvejis, kai jis pripazista klydes) -

darktaras Marko jau skalbia Renault ir si karta be uzuolanku:
"The engine is broken after 50 kilometres," he told the Austrian broadcaster ORF. "We are promised again and again 'Next time it will be better, the test results are encouraging'.
"We have a meeting on Wednesday in England. Those in charge of Renault are not yet here, they're coming tonight, but it cannot be like this," he added.
"If you have an engine failure after 50km, that is incomprehensible."
The Austrian believes they have taken a step back when compared to last year, whilst team principal Christian Horner reckons they have "similar power to Abu Dhabi".
“With all the engines, driveability is significantly worse than in testing," added Marko. "We wanted an improvement and we have taken a step back."
Manor turi daugiau nei SW bedu, kada vaziuos - neaisku:
Manor’s sporting director Graeme Lowden says he is unsure when his team’s cars will be able to run after they missed both of today’s practice sessions.
Contrary to reports, Lowden said the team’s problems were not limited to a specific area.
“It’s not simply a software issue,” he said during a press conference at the circuit, “there’s a lot of issues, none of which are a big surprise really when you consider the amount of work that’s been required to get the team here in a very, very short space of time”.
Honda have nine engine development "tokens" to use this year; average of rivals' unused so far (Merc 7 remaining, Ferrari 10, Renault 12)
