OUCH!!!
The Mercedes board has decided not to supply Formula 1 engines to Red Bull in the future.
Renault confirmed to this site on Sunday in Monza that the manufacturer will now either complete the purchase of Lotus or exit F1. There is no third option of continuing to supply engines alone.
This means that Red Bull will almost certainly be obliged to go to Ferrari for a competitive engine for both of its teams. Both Red Bull and Toro Rosso have used Ferrari engines before, early in their existence before the switch to Renault.
Prognozes 2016-iem kardinaliai pasikeite, kai Dede Usocius akivaizdziai pademonstravo, jog prisibijo RBR aero package ir Mercedes varikliu jie negaus.
Red Bull - Ferrari
Ricciardo, Kvjat
Toro Rosso - Ferrari
Verstappen, Sainz
Renault
Force India - Mercedes
Hulkenberg, Wehrlein
Sauber - Ferrari
Nasr, Maldonado?
McLaren - Honda
Alonso, Magnussen arba Vandoorne
Neprisibijo o protingai renkasi kuriems konkurentams 'padeti'. Nes savo technologijos dalinimas kitiems jau is esmes yra nuostolis.
The good news is that Ferrari will happily give him engines for both of his teams – as long, of course, that he has extracted himself from his Renault contracts. Renault is quite happy to see the back of Red Bull. Renault engines won the team four World titles but when things went wrong the team’s first reaction was to throw Renault under the bus.
This will all likely mean that Mercedes will now be free to provide its engines to Manor, which is keen to grab them.
Red Bull and Toro Rosso have admitted that there is a chance that they may choose not to race Renault's upgraded Formula 1 engine when it finally becomes availa***.
Demokratija: Outspoken criticisms of Pirelli from multiple world champions Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, as well as Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg, led to the four being called to a meeting at last weekend's Italian Grand Prix with Ecclestone, Pirelli, Horner and the bosses of the Ferrari and Mercedes teams.
Ecclestone said the drivers were told at the meeting to keep their concerns about the tyres out of the public eye in the future.
Red Bull will lose 88m Euro sponsor money from Total & Infiniti by not running Renault engines 2016. AMuS
Suvenyra gal kam?
Italian police are investigating the theft of a steering wheel from the Force India garages at Monza before last Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, the Formula One team said on Tuesday.
A spokesman said the wheel was a spare for Mexican Sergio Perez's car and appeared to have been taken on Saturday night after qualifying for the race at the high-speed circuit near Milan.
Nebutu cigonu salis... kur kitur jeigu ne Italijoje ka nors pavogti..
Haas, panasu, bus Esteban Gutierrez, kuri Ferrari pasirinko vietoj Jean-Eric Vergne, + Grosjean/Magnussen/etc
Pireliai paskelbė padangų sudėtį Sočio Gp - bus softai ir supersoftai.
It would be more accurate to say that the combined power unit and Petronas fuel was more powerful – for fuel technology has proven to be the most potent development tool in the hybrid turbo-charged formula since its introduction last year. It's a similar story at Ferrari, where gains of 40bhp have been made during this season, just from the fuel alone
The necessity for the engine and fuel to be developed together in this formula was underlined last year when McLaren ran Mercedes engines as customers but was contracted to run Mobil fuel. Despite identical engines to the works cars, the McLarens were often as much as 40 horsepower down.
o, cia geras.
Bet kazkas sutrukde? :)) Geras reportaziukas, kolekcija susistate bolidu
idomu,ar kiti pilotai turi kazkokias panasias kolekcijas? :)
Mazai tiketina, bet gandai yra gandai:
Renault had a meeting after the Monza GP with Alonso and claiming that they would waiting for him until he has done a decision if he continues with McLaren, this would depend on if signs are showing until the end of the year that the 2016 McLaren is a race winning car...
nesamone IMHO - kokia logika remiantis jis turetu begti i Renault?
Briatore gerai susumavo Monzoje Alonso situacija - jei neturi geros masinos, bent turi gera alga.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/COiPTFNWoAAGHai.jpg - padangu problemu Spa priezastis.
I ka Spa atsake paprastai: “If drivers respect track limits there’s no problem”.
Honda has a more compact layout - to fit the compressor inside the cylinder bank, it needed to be made much smaller than Mercedes', so it lacks efficiency. Its maximum revs are also limited.
Because of its location, Honda cannot enlarge it without changing the design of the engine - and to do that, it needs more engine 'tokens' under F1's complex system of development restrictions than it has availa*** this year.
Mercedes is said to have a significant advantage, just on the ICE, of 10-15bhp over Ferrari and as much as 70bhp over Renault.
Adding the 700bhp Mercedes is reputed to develop from its ICE, to the regulated 160bhp of MGU-K power and the extra 'free' electrical energy from the MGU-H of as much as 30-40bhp, gives a total Mercedes power output in the region of 890-900bhp.
Renault's and Ferrari's hybrid systems are believed to be competitive with Mercedes, which puts them at about 830-840bhp (Renault) and 880-890bhp (Ferrari).
Priedo:
Engineers rate the McLaren as about the fourth or fifth best chassis in F1 - behind Mercedes, Red Bull and Toro Rosso, in the region of a Ferrari.
Rumour doing the rounds is that Renault itself orchestrated the Charles Pic court bailiff saga of Spa, given the French driver’s historical links to the carmaker, in order to increase urgency and drive down the price.
The legendary Brazilian had managed 41 wins from 161 Formula One starts before his tragic and fatal crash while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. After crushing the rest of the field in Monza, Hamilton now has 40 wins out of 160 starts; if he manages to win out in Singapore he will match Senna exactly: 41 for 161.

On a circuit that has six corners, on the GPS, we lose two or three tenths in those corners. The rest of the three seconds, we need to find on the straights".

senas geras topic'as:
"We are not deploying out of Turn 5 until the exit of Turn 7 – so we are 160bhp down on other people, plus the less we have on the ICE."
So if you add that 160bhp deficit on to where the ICE is lacking compared to Mercedes (which is widely believed to be around 80bhp) that leaves Honda facing up to a scenario where it needs to find 240bhp if it going to match the best.
While getting access to McLaren's GPS data is impossi*** – meaning we cannot prove or disprove Alonso's remarks – one rival team did offer Motorsport.com some insight about where it thinks its Woking rival stacks up.
According to its data from the Belgian GP, it appears that the McLaren

could be as good as the fourth quickest chassis overall through corners, beaten only by the Mercedes, Red Bull and Toro Rosso.
Having crunched the numbers and compared the McLaren to a Mercedes on a quick practice lap, some interesting figures emerged too.
Up to the exit of La Source for example, the Mercedes was just 0.2 seconds ahead. By the time the cars got to Les Combes, the Mercedes had gained a further one second.
However, from that point on, until the exit of Paul Frere Corner, the Mercedes only pulled another 0.4 seconds ahead.
A further 0.6 seconds was lost between that point and the chicane, and more again accelerating out of it.
Overall, the GPS data suggested that McLaren was losing more that 2.3 seconds per lap on the straights, and only around half a second on the corners.
Compared to the other manufacturers, McLaren was said to be around two seconds adrift of Ferrari on the straights, and 1.1 seconds to Red Bull.

MANOR MARUSSIA F1 TEAM SIGNS ROSSI
American GP2 Series title contender to race in five of the remaining rounds of the 2015 season
Marina Bay Circuit, Singapore
Wednesday 16 September 2015, 23.00hrs SGT (Singapore) / 16.00hrs BST (Banbury, UK) / 08.00hrs PDT (California)
The Manor Marussia F1 Team is pleased to announce that it has signed Alexander Rossi as Race Driver for five of the seven remaining rounds of the 2015 season, competing alongside Will Stevens. He will make his Grand Prix debut at this weekend’s 2015 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.
Alexander is the first American Formula 1 driver since Scott Speed competed in 2007. The 23 year old, from Nevada City in California, is currently lying in second place in the 2015 GP2 Series, with three rounds of the championship remaining. The team is happy to support him in that battle, therefore Alexander will race in Singapore, Japan, the US, Mexico and Brazil, but he will not take part in the Russian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix. Roberto Merhi will join Fabio Leimer as an Official Reserve Driver but he will drive in Sochi and at Yas Marina.
Alexander is a familiar face for many of the Manor Marussia F1 Team, having been Reserve Driver for the latter part of the 2014 season. During that time, he took part in a Free Practice 1 session, at Spa-Francorchamps during the Belgian Grand Prix. This weekend will see him ‘racing’ a Formula 1 car for the first time.
John Booth │ Team Principal
“We are delighted to sign Alexander as Race Driver. He is widely-regarded as a driver who is on the cusp of an exciting F1 career and his current form in the GP2 Series has done much to reinforce his clear potential. With that in mind, we are pleased to support his current GP2 commitments while he continues to battle for the championship win, therefore he will race in five of the seven remaining Grands Prix this season, with Roberto contesting Russia and Abu Dhabi for us.
“Signing Alexander is a continuation of our proud record of providing young drivers with the opportunity to showcase their talents. We believe he will do a great job and look forward to seeing him race for the first time this weekend in Singapore. It is also fantastic news for the sport that it will have an American driver again, particularly with the United States Grand Prix on our horizon and now two races in South America, in Mexico and Brazil. I know Alexander is very excited about that and we look forward to providing him with the opportunity to show the American public what he can do.
“While Roberto is obviously disappointed, he understands that this decision is in the long-term interests of the team and we thank him for his professionalism. No decision has been made regarding our 2016 driver line-up and we will continue to evaluate our options during the remainder of the season.”
Alexander Rossi
“I’m very thankful to race for the Manor Marussia F1 Team and for their continued belief in me. I’ve been prepared for this opportunity for quite a while now. Many will know from 2014 that the team and I already have a strong relationship and there’s a bit of unfinished business for me here.
“This is a small F1 team that has been through so much. They exemplify passion and true strength of character, and their comeback this season is extraordinary. I’m honored to be part of this legacy and their continued growth and success.
“I want to thank the management at Manor Marussia F1 Team and my team in the GP2 Series, Racing Engineering, for supporting both my F1 duties and the completion of an already strong GP2 campaign. Since Monza, my return to F1 came together rather quickly and seamlessly. The collective support of both Manor and Racing Engineering was instrumental in making this opportunity possi***.”
“Singapore is a circuit I really enjoy and the timing of my debut could not be more perfect. There’s a lot of work ahead and I’m looking forward to a busy end to the 2015 season.”
OT: rekomenduoju paskaityti Aussie Grit knyga.
"A driver goes through so many emotions during the course of a race –all your sensations are heightened –so if someone goes off the track you can actually smell the cut grass before you go past the scene."
