The FIA's safety director Laurent Mekies sent a note to F1 teams telling them to modify their rear jack points for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, intimating that the design of the jacking point on the car Monger hit may have contributed to the severity of the accident.

Mekies also confirmed that from now on F1 jack points would be inspected by the safety department.

Mekies wrote: “Following several front-to-rear incidents over the past months in various single-seater categories, the FIA would like all F1 teams to ensure that their rear jacking point designs cannot act aggressively during such an incident.

One other thing that Wolff has noticed about Rosberg's absence this year is that it has changed the level of engineering input from drivers – which had been one of the German's core strengths.

"Nico played a very important role in the development of the team," added Wolff. "He was pushing Lewis to the limits, and the two of them were pushing each other and therefore scoring very good results for us.

Nesuprantu, kaip save tokiais aršiais Kimio fanais laikot, jeigu abejojat jo skillais. Pats Kimi nekartą per paskutinius sezonus overcutą demonstravo Monake, faktas, kad čia teisingesnė strategija yra. Bet net ir taip buvo labai close, nes Kimis vos ne matchino SV ratus po bokso iš traffico išlindęs, kai niekas su supersoftais nedarė nieko penašaus btw.

Marchize> as Kimio greiciu neabejoju, todel ir ieskau atsakymo, kodel toje stadijoje Vettelis buvo smarkiai greitesnis. Tavo paaiskinimas kol kas atrodo logiskiausias. Kitus paaiskinimus, tokius kaip senatve atejo ir t.t. as atmeciau, kadangi kvalifikacijoje greicio uzteko, o Kimis lenktynese seniau bent jau vaziuodavo santykinai stipriau negu kvalifikacijose. Padangu sudrozima irgi atmeciau, kadangi Kimis vaziavo laisvoje trasoje, o Vettelis - ne.
